The Preschool at Bishop Schad offers our youngest learners — ages 3 through 4 — a quality education in a warm and supporting environment that is rich with opportunities. The foundation for each child’s future cognitive, physical, social and emotional development is built on a curriculum that is taught with intentionality by caring and nurturing faculty.

  • Before school care 7:15 am to 7:30 am at no charge

  • School day begins at 8:00 am

  • Half Day Pick Up at 12:00 pm

  • School day ends at 2:10 pm

  • After School available until 5:30 pm

  • Happily Ever After Reading Readiness affiliated with the Super Kids Reading Program. The Happily Ever After readiness curriculum focuses on the following four areas: Oral language and Vocabulary, Listening Skills, Direction Following, Fine Motor Skills.

  • Story structure and appreciation through listening to classic children's literature.

  • Print and book awareness skills, such as print directionality.

  • Letter recognition.

  • Fine motor skills, such as using scissors, folding, and gluing.

  • Auditory discrimination and phonological awareness skills.

  • 10 colors and 8 shapes, such as line, dot, and circle.

  • Instructional concepts and vocabulary, such as underlining, following an arrow and circling.

  • STEM activities, Religion, Physical Education, and Spanish are also a part of the preschool learning experience.
