      Please be aware that teachers are unable to supply classroom assignments prior to, or during a student’s absence.  As per school policy, students will be given make-up work upon their return to school.
 
 
Supplies:
     Below is a list of supplies for all 2nd graders.  If a supply kit was purchased, your child only needs to bring a small plastic art box , tissues and paper towels.
     Please keep in mind that all copybooks must be purchased in school.
 Also, please keep in mind that there are no binders or trapperkeepers, no mechanical pencils, and no pencil sharpeners in 2nd grade.
     Please be sure that your child has all supplies in school for the 1st day.  Books will be sent home a few at a time for covering.  All workbooks (soft covers) should be covered in clear plastic.  Reading and Social Studies books should be covered in paper or cloth (No sticky plastic.)  All books must be in school by Tuesday.  We will begin all bookwork on Tuesday.

1  pkg. of construction paper
1  box of crayons  (16 count)   -  no large boxes please
1  box of large washable markers (8 ct.)
1  box of watercolor paints  (8 ct.)
1  soft pink eraser
1  small zipper pencil case
2  glue sticks
2  bottles of glue
Fiskars  scissors for kids
1  pkg. of pencils  (12 pack  #2)  - sharpen if possible
4  2 pocket folders
1  roll of paper towels
2  boxes of tissues
1  small plastic art box
1  12 inch ruler w/ centimeters

                                         * A note will be sent home regarding the cost of these items.
                                            If you have already purchased a supply kit, the cost of these
                                            items was included in that price with the exception of Weekly
                                            Reader and Center fees.
