It is a cold snowy night and Rudolph gets sick. Santa is worried because he doesn’t know if Rudolph can help him deliver the presents.

Then Santa has an idea. He remembers that Rudolph has a wife. Her name is Ruby. The only problem is that she doesn’t know how to fly.

Comet and Cupid decide that it would be nice to help her.

At first she wasn’t very good, so she practiced harder. Soon she was as good as Rudolph.

When it came time to lead the sleigh, she was nervous, but Santa told her she would be alright.  She did a good job leading the sleigh...and she had fun!

How she is the substitute for any sick reindeer.  She also gets to go in the sleigh with Santa every year.  She considers learning how to fly a Christmas miracle.
