Dear Parents and Guardians:

We are looking forward, with great anticipation, to Catholic Schools Week. Our opening Mass will be held at 10:30 at Sacred Heart on January 31st. An open house will be held at the school immediately following the Mass, sponsored by the PTA.

Our activities for the week include:

Monday: Student Appreciation Day
Tuesday: Teacher Appreciation Day
Wednesday: Mayor Romano addresses Grades 5-8
ASPCA presentation to Grades K-4
Thursday: Open House
Friday: African Acrobat Presentation
Karaoke Night

We have used our 3 banked snow days. If, for any reason, we need to take additional days due to inclement weather, our make-up days will be: 2/15; full day 3/31 and half day 4/1; and 5/14.

As a reminder, students should be reading 15 minutes nightly. Please be sure to record this on your reading logs. Logs are collected monthly.

We are so proud of all of the students. We collected $2058.00 in our Helping Haiti dress down day. Bennett came up with the idea of collecting stuffed animals for the children of Haiti. We are now collecting new stuffed animals. Thank you Bennett for a terrific idea.

Have a great weekend and remember to keep God in your weekend plans.

God Bless.

Dr. DeMartino

Has Karaoke Night been rescheduled?

I will try to get principals list. I will try to read more. I would help around the house more. I’d help my brother with his homwork. To listen to my mom more.
