Dear Parents and Guardians:
What excitement in the air! The students at BSR, through your generous support, collected over 2000 cans, food items, and food cards. Volunteers from the St. Vincent dePaul Center, as were we, overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank you–you have helped many people.
We are continuing to accept school supplies. These supplies will be sent to the schools in Iraq that were built by American soldiers. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
Congratulations to everyone associated with the school float. You did a terrific job. We won first place in the school category! Pictures are available on our website for those who were unable to make the parade. Again, thank you for your hard work, time and dedication.
Our Santa’s Shop is in full swing. All week students can visit the shop to do their Christmas shopping.
There will be a BSR Family Christmas Carol sing-a-long on December 17th at 6:30 PM in Sacred Heart Church. All family members are invited. Grade levels will lead the singing.
While there were a few minor glitches with accessing the reports cards on line, overall, the process went very smoothly.
Sacred Heart Parish will hold a St. Nicholas Mass at 10:30 on December 6th. Family Life will host a “Breakfast with Santa” directly after Mass. All are invited to attend.
Parent workshops for the Accelerated Reading Program will begin next week. The first meeting will be for grades 5-8 on Monday, December 7th at 6:30 in the Sacred Heart Church Hall. All parents in grades 5-8 are encouraged to attend.
Enjoy the holiday season and remember to attend Mass, keeping God in your weekend plans.
